Lighthouse Chapel International is a Charismatic church that was founded by Bishop Dag Heward-Mills in Ghana, West Africa in 1985 under the name Korle-Bu Christian Centre; it was changed to the current name in 1987. Their mission is: to build 25,000 churches, to have Churches in 150 countries, to fight fiercely and relentlessly in all battles for the advancement of the churches and the Gospel, to produce radical Christians who work for God, to go to heaven and to hear Jesus say - "Well done, good and faithful servant". Its headquarters, the Qodesh, is located in Accra, Ghana. Bishop Heward-Mills is also a renowned evangelist who has taken the gospel to may remote locations in Africa through his Healing Jesus Campaign. He is also the author of 30 books, including the bestseller Loyalty and Disloyalty; there are currently 6 million books in print in 8 languages. The church has a humanitarian charity, Help the Helpless, which seeks to help the blind, prisoners, the poor, the sick, and widows. It also has an orphanage, The Lighthouse Christian Home, and a primary school, The Lighthouse Christian Mission School, both of which are under the management of his wife, Lady Rev. Adelaide Heward-Mills. The church also has Anagkazo Bible School, which trains people for the ministry. Lighthouse Chapel International has over 1200 branches in 61 countries worldwide. It is fast becoming one of the biggest denominations in the world.

The Assemblies of God trace their roots back to a revival that began in the late 1800's. The revival was characterized by a widespread experience called the "Baptism in the Holy Spirit," and speaking in tongues.

The leaders of this revival decided to unite in a cooperative fellowship in 1914 in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Three hundred ministers and laymen gathered to discuss the growing need for doctrinal unity and other common goals. As a result the The General Council of the Assemblies of God was formed, uniting the assemblies in ministry and legal identity, yet preserving each congregation as self-governing and self-supporing entities.

Currently the Assemblies of God USA and Assemblies of God organizations around the world make up the world's largest Pentecostal denomination with some 66 million members and adherents.

Redeemed Christian Church of God is a Pentecostal holiness denomination based in Nigeria. It was founded by Josiah Akindayomi after he saw the church’s current name in a vision even though he couldn’t read or write, but he was supernaturally able to write these words down, “Redeemed Christian Church of God.” It currently overseered by Ps. E.A Adeboye.

Since 1981, an open explosion began with the number of parishes growing in leaps and bounds. At the last count, there are at least about 2000 parishes of the Redeemed Christian Church of God in Nigeria. On the International scene, the church is present in other African nations including C’ote D’Ivoire, Ghana, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Gambia, Cameroon, and South Africa. In Europe the church is spread in England, Germany, and France. In the United States there are parishes in Dallas, Tallahassee, Houston, New York, Washington, and Chicago and also in the Caribbean states of Haiti and Jamaica.

Today, God is still doing marvelous deeds through the Redeemed Christian Church of God, worldwide. One of the well-known programs of the church is the Holy Ghost Service, an all night miracle service that holds on the first Friday of every month at the Redemption Camp at Km. 46, Lagos-Ibadan expressway. The average headcount of those who attend the Service is about 500,000. The Holy Ghost Service now holds in different parts of the world which includes the United Kingdom, India, USA, Canada, South Africa, Australia, Dubai, Ghana, Philippines and many more.

Their mission is to: to make heaven, to take as many people with them and to have a member of RCCG in every family of all nations. The Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) is a United States-based Christian denomination. It is the world's largest Baptist denomination and the largest Protestant body in the United States, with nearly 16 million members as of 2012. This also makes it the second largest Christian body in the United States, after the Catholic Church.

The word Southern in Southern Baptist Convention stems from its having been founded and rooted in the Southern United States. In 1845, members at a regional convention being held in Augusta, Georgia created the SBC, following a split from northern Baptists over the issue of forbidding Southern slave-owners from becoming ordained missionaries. After the American Civil War, another split occurred: most black Baptists in the South separated from white churches to set up independent congregations, regional associations, and state and national conventions, such as the National Baptist Convention, the second largest Baptist convention.

Since the 1940s, the SBC has moved away from some of its regional identification. Especially since the late twentieth century, the SBC has sought new members among minority groups and become much more diverse. In addition, while still heavily concentrated in the Southern US, the SBC has member churches across the United States and 41 affiliated state conventions.

At its annual convention in 2012, the SBC elected as president Fred Luter Jr., the first African American to hold the position. A SBC presidential term is for one year, with a term limit of two terms. Each president is elected by Messengers sent by each local church at the SBC annual meeting. Since Luter ran unopposed, per the by-laws of the Convention, only a single ballot was cast by the Recording Secretary to secure his election. Because of the historic nature of the vote, the assembly was asked to rise in support of the vote, which the messengers did enthusiastically. Luter, was re-elected president for a second (and final) term at the 2013 meeting.

Southern Baptists emphasize the significance of the individual conversion experience which is affirmed by the person having a total immersion in water for a believer's baptism. As a result, they reject the practice of infant baptism. SBC churches are evangelical in doctrine and practice. Specific beliefs based on biblical interpretation can vary somewhat due to their congregational governance system which allows autonomy to each individual local church.
